Something truly unique
Creating something truly unique requires a fine balance between pushing the boundaries of technical design, as well as making it practical and usable for the player.
Many unique guitar companies have popped up over the years, but very few go the distance. Most designers try to make the most boutique and expensive guitar possible. We’re aiming to make a true workhorse for the playing musician. This means reliable, modifiable, repairable and affordable as well as strikingly unique.
A familiar feel
Neck feel is not something you want to mess with. While a radical asymmetrical neck profile might sound good on paper, most players want a familiar feel, especially on a workhorse. Our guitars use “Modern C” roasted maple “strat feeling” necks with rosewood fretboards in order to provide a familiar and typical playing experience. We want you to feel like your playing a strat, while looking like you’re playing alien technology.
A familiar sound
We use common sounding traditional low output “PAF voiced” humbuckers for the purpose of familiarity. The traditional Alnico 2 pickup populatised in the 1950s is a near perfect design, that we believe makes a suitable base for our guitars.
Our simple pickup mounting system allows easy pickup swapping, so you can install any of your favorite pickups into your Pearson guitar.

The Hyper B is The Pearson Omega is one of a kind in the guitar industry. In a world of typical wood guitars, the Omega stands on it’s own as the one truly unique headless options for the playing musician.
A designer, and a player
Pearson Instruments was founded by industrial designer and guitar player Dom Pearson. Dom has a deep understanding of how a guitar should feel, how they are manufactured and how design bounderies can be pushed.
A workhorse you can trust
Pearson guitar are designed with durability and long term ownership in mind. Non proprietary parts mean you will not need to rely on us to supply new parts in 100 years. The aftermarket has you covered for hardware.
