Give your Pearson Hyper B Special a new personality with a different control cover.
Available in both left and right handed versions.
In the box:
- “Acid Green” control cover
- Extra black selector tip
- Extra white selector tip
- M3 Allen wrench
Tools required for changing control covers:
- Crescent adjustable wrench (not included)
- M3 Allen wrench (included)
Steps for changing control covers:
1) Carefully pull off knobs and selector tip
2) Remove all control cover bolts with included Allen wrench
3) Remove electronics with adjustable crescent wrench
4) Remove pickup selector bolts with M3 Allen wrench
5) Reinstall electronics into new control cover
6) Reinstall M3 bolts into new control cover and tighten with M3 Allen wrench
7) Install knobs/selector tip back onto electronics
Notes:
- Remove protective film prior to installing
- Be careful not to scratch acrylic surface with tools while swapping electronics
- Be careful to not pull on the wires while changing covers
- Place washers and nuts in a safe place while swapping electronics
